In my humble opinion, the folks at Medium got it right: their editor is everything necessary to expression through words. A mashup of CKEditor, Bootstrap, and Font Awesome, this library is my homage to their combined blood, sweat, and tears.
This page is editable, and this is my editor:
- Inline, distraction free editing built on CKEditor
- Minimalistic toolbar that appears only when text is selected
- A simplified, pluggable event model
